Work visas

A job offer, a visa and a plan

Work visas have deadlines, caps and categories that don't forgive guesses. We help the worker and the employer through the filing, together.

Tobias handles most of our work cases. Hospitals, schools, warehouses, restaurants and small businesses hire people who need a visa to keep working. We advise the worker, the employer or both, and we say clearly who our client is.

What we handle

  • Choosing the right visa category for the job

  • Petitions, extensions and changes of employer

  • Green cards through work

  • Family members who come with the worker

The steps

From offer to approval

The worker and the employer each have a part. We keep both moving.

  1. 01

Step 1: Match the job to a visa

We read the job description and your background and tell you which categories could fit, and which will not.

  2. 02

    Step 2: The employer's paperwork

Wage rules, labor filings and the petition itself, prepared with the owner or human resources.

  3. 03

    Step 3: Your application

Your documents, plus a consular interview if you are abroad or a change of status if you are here.

  4. 04

Step 4: Extensions and next steps

We track expiration dates and plan any move toward a green card early.

Questions about work visas

Can my employer cancel my visa?

A work visa is tied to a specific job. If you leave or are let go there may be a grace period and other options. Call us before you sign anything.

Do you represent employers?

Yes. We act for the worker or the employer, and we explain in writing who our client is at the start.

Can my spouse work?

Sometimes, depending on the visa. We will check yours.

Hiring someone, or starting a job?

Call or text with the job title and your country of citizenship. We will tell you which visas are worth a look.
