DACA and work permits

Keep your permit current

A work permit only helps while it's valid. We track your dates, prepare your renewal on time and tell you plainly where the rules stand.

DACA has been in and out of court for years. We check the current rules before we file, so you never rely on last year's advice.

Work permits also matter when another case is pending, such as an asylum or green card application. We tell you if you can ask for one, and when.

What we help with

  • DACA renewals, and first requests where the rules allow

  • Work permit applications and renewals

  • Advance parole, before any trip abroad

  • Replacing a lost, stolen or incorrect card

The steps

A renewal, in four steps

Renewals go wrong when they are late or incomplete. This is how we avoid both.

  1. 01

    Step 1: Check your dates

We write down your card's expiration and the date a renewal should go in, and we remind you.

  2. 02

    Step 2: Update your records

A new address, an arrest or any change since your last approval is something we need to hear first.

  3. 03

    Step 3: File on time

We prepare the forms, the fee and the evidence, and send it with proof of delivery.

  4. 04

    Step 4: Keep your proof

Your receipt notice and biometrics date, kept safe in case you have to show them.

Questions about DACA

Is DACA open to new applicants?

That depends on the court rulings in place today. Call us, and we will tell you where things stand before you pay any fee.

How early should I renew?

The agency publishes a window before expiration. We tell you exactly when yours opens and file as soon as it does.

Can I travel with DACA?

Not without advance permission, and not always even then. Please talk to us before you buy a ticket.

Check your expiration date

Text us the date on your card, and we will tell you when to file.
