How it works

From first call to decision

No surprises, and nothing filed before you understand it.

  1. 01

    Step 1: You reach out

Call, text or use the form. Tell us the basics: who needs help and what paper or deadline worries you. We reply in English or Spanish.

  2. 02

    Step 2: A first meeting

We meet in the office, by phone or by video, and look at your documents. By the end you know whether we can help and what it would take.

  3. 03

Step 3: A written plan and fee

If you hire us, you get the plan, the fee and what is included in writing, in the language you read best.

  4. 04

Step 4: We prepare and file

We gather documents, complete the forms and send everything with proof, then tell you what we filed and why.

  5. 05

Step 5: We stay with you

Through receipts, interviews and hearings, a lawyer is on your case until there is a decision.

Before you come

What to put in your bag

Don't worry if you're missing something. Bring what you have.

  • Passports, visas and papers from your country

  • Any letters, notices or receipts from immigration, even ones you don't understand

  • Arrest or court papers, if there are any

  • A list of your addresses and jobs, as far back as you can remember

  • Your questions, written down
